Past Week

My wonderful husband is NOW done with his Real Estate liscence. YEA!!! He has been studying all summer, along with mowing, so we are so glad to have this done. He will do a training with the Abilene Board of Realtors on the 6th and then he is good to go. I am so proud of him. CJ has worked so hard to make it possible for me to stay at home with our kids. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful man leading our family. If you know of anyone needing a house or needing to sell a house in the Abilene area let them know about CJ.

On the Paci front, Alyssa is still doing great. I still am amazed at how easliy this has gone. I am so thankful that she is still taking good naps and is not having any trouble going to sleep. She did have a little trouble going to sleep at night, so I came up with a plan. We put a lamp in her room and let her read books in bed for about 30 minutes and then come in and turn it off. She loves it and I think it helps her unwind.

On Tuesday of last week Caleb decided to start walking. He took his first steps on June 19th...but Tuesday was the day that he started walking whenever he had the chance. He is too cute. I will get video and post it soon. I am sad to see his funny crawl go away. They grow up way too fast.

We also got a new camera!!! I love ebay!!! It is a digital canon rebel!! Way cool. I love the fact that it will take 3 pictures a second, and that I can get the facial experssion that I was wanting on camera. here are a few pictures that we have taken with it.

This last picture is Alyssa and her Daddy making a bird feeder. Caleb was so much help. I hope this is the first of many projects that CJ and the kids get to do. He is great with them.

YEAH CJ!!! We are so excited for you! But we knew you could do it... I'm glad you got a new camera. Chad wants one, but man, are they expensive! We may need to try ebay, too. Great pics!

SO THRILLED FOR YOU AND CJ!!! I don't know of anyone looking for a house in Abilene, but I'll keep y'all in mind. Of course, Brantley came back from Abilene Saturday talking about how much he misses that place. So, if he had it his way, we'd be in the market for a house there soon. Before the rumor mill heats up, I am kidding. He sure does love Abilene though!
